Well, it is wild and stormy here in Laguna Beach! Holey Moley, it's like a hurricane!
Here is where I am staying, at the La Casa Del Camino:
This is a very nice place to stay; the rooms have antiques in them, the lobby is beautiful and last night they had a fire in the fireplace and a man playing the piano. The restaurant, K'ya, is amazing; the food is wonderful.

As you can see from this photo taken yesterday afternoon, it is raining, the ocean is rough and the wind is rather fierce. The rain has started again and the wind, too. But I did have a bit of a reprieve this morning when I went out for breakfast at this place:
There was a bit of a break in the clouds this morning and I took the opportunity to go out for breakfast and a little stroll. Great timing, I must say. I like this place for breakfast. On my little stroll, I walked down this little alley:
It feels so different to be here not only during the off season but in the midst of a storm. I have to say I am enjoying it. I wanted a few days of rest and a change of scenery and I do believe I got just that!
I hope everyone here in Southern California manages to stay dry! I'm not sure I will!
